Home Tour #2

Dining Room
Welcome to the dining room! I know many people have opted to get rid of the dining room and turn it into something else! But since Brit and I both have all of our family in the area, I am so glad to have this room!!
In this room, I used the same paint color as the living room and entryway (Restoration Hardware’s Silver Sage). When we moved into our house, one of the things we did was switch out some lighting. This chandelier was a great purchase! It looks old, but has the convenience of being new! Have you ever ordered anything from Horchow? It is Neiman Marcus’ discount store with great stuff for the house! I had parson’s chairs in my dining room at our old house, but they had been used quite a bit and had a few stains. I purchased slipcovers similar to these, and it freshened them up! Plus I can take them off and wash them! The white wooden chairs were purchased at a Crate & Barrel Outlet when we first got married, but here are some similar chairs! The table was a gift from my in-laws, and I love it so much!!! Click here and here to see some similar tables!

The burlap table runner was a DIY project I did several years ago, but I love it still so much!!! Was super easy too!

I also love the antique chicken feeder on the table! I change what I put in it depending on the season!

I picked up this AMAZING sign from Joyfully Said Signs at a local vintage market. If you haven’t “liked” this page on Facebook yet, don’t hesitate! These signs are absolutely gorgeous! This “grateful” sign was just what I was looking for in our dining room. I found the curved iron piece from Hobby Lobby. It is all scheduled to be hung this week!!
The hydrangeas at my in-law’s lake house bloomed! I love how they look in the blue Mason jars!!
This buffet was purchased from a local store! We got it when we first got married! 13 years later, it still looks great! The lamps were purchased from Home Goods several years ago, but here are some similar ones. The mirror was purchased at a garage sale! I did not even have to antique it at all! The small boxwood wreath provides some greenery for the area! The two urns were also purchased at a garage sale. I also recently purchased the awesome wooden bowl from a vintage sale. I picked it up from a great shop, The Pair. Be sure to “like” their page on Facebook!

Hope this gives you some inspiration in your home!
