What I Love from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

It’s hard to believe it is time for my favorite sale of the year! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is an amazing time to pick up BRAND NEW items for fall and winter at a discounted price! Today I am sharing my top picks!

Before I share my favorites, I have to say, that I truly don’t believe that you should purchase something just because it is on sale! Ask yourself these three questions before you decide what to purchase and/or keep!

Is this the image I want to portray?
Does it look good on me?
Do I love it?

This top remains one of my top purchases from the sale two years ago! It is so comfortable and made of a great material! I have it tucked in here, but it is also long enough to wear with leggings!

Fit Tip: Size down in the top. Wearing XS. Size down if in between in the jeans. Wearing a 2/26. Size down half a size in the shoes.

This top looks great with the Spanx leggings too! The Spanx leggings are another item that I highly recommend to purchase during the anniversary sale! I wear these leggings on repeat during the fall and winter!

Every year, Nordstrom has a great selection of Barefoot Dreams on sale! I cannot recommend these products more! From the socks to the cardigan, I love them all! And because they are so rarely on sale, these are items I recommend picking up!

These bras by True & Co are incredibly comfortable! I highly recommend picking one up while they are on sale!

Every year, Nordstrom offers a North Face coat at such a great deal! When I had recess duty, this coat kept me so warm! And when the winters get so cold in Indiana, this is pretty much the only coat I wear! At nearly $100 off, this is a great deal!

This luggage is the best luggage I own! I am so excited that the pink and green colors are included in the Anniversary Sale! The features are unbeatable – hook on the front for another bag or your hat, great compartments on the inside, padded handle, and more! The travel bag is awesome too!

Every year, Steve Madden has released a new mule that looks pretty similar! These are one of my favorites to wear as we transition from summer to fall!

If you are looking for a non-skinny pair of jeans, these BlankNYC jeans are great! Because they have no stretch, consider sizing up!

These Spanx pull-on pants are great for the end of the summer and right into fall!

Favorite Fall Finds

I don’t know about you, but I love dressing for fall! Cozy layers, cardigans, vests and scarves are some of my favorite things. I compiled a bunch of fall finds to add to any wardrobe! This list includes everything from one of my favorite pairs of jeans that are only $25 (true to size), a cozy mustard cardigan, my absolute favorite leopard flats, and you can never go wrong with a utility jacket. This first set includes a great selection of scarves! From leopard scarves, plaid options, and a fun color blocked scarf, these are great to add a touch to any look. This burnt orange tunic is SO cozy and perfect to style in so many ways. Only $17 and available in a a few colors. True to size for me. I have an entire post on it here! Looking for stripes? Up next is a great dress for fall. I love these Old Navy swing dresses, and they come in quite a few colors and patterns. I love adding a scarf, leggings and boots to these dresses. If you are looking for more of a sweater dress, this burgundy dress is only $20, and it is available in quite a few colors. A great pair of black leggings is always a fall wardrobe staple! These Zella black leggings have been a pair of my favorite (true to Size) and you can see them styled 10 ways here. I have loved these $25 jeans for the last 2 years! They are so soft with a good stretch, and they come in a few washes! If you are looking for a great pair of joggers, these were the #1 best seller of Just Posted in 2019. You can see how I styled pair of black joggers 10 ways here. The best part is, they are around $15 with prime shipping and they come in SO many colors and patterns!

Finally featured, are some vests, sherpas, jackets and shoes! A utility jacket or jean jacket is a perfect layering piece for fall. My absolute favorite jean jacket is from Kut from the Kloth. It is so soft and stretchy, but it does run a bit small. I recommend sizing up 1 size. If you are looking for a more affordable one, these Old Navy jean jackets are available in so many washes and styles, and such a goods staple piece. They fit me true to size.

Before the weather gets too cold, these J.Crew Factory leopard flats are so cute, and you can see how I styled them 10 different ways here. If you are looking for a perfect sneaker, these white shoreline converse are always win for me. If you want a pop of pattern, I love that these camo slip-ons are only $23 and they are so comfy! (They are also available in leopard.) These have been a Just Posted best seller so many times! If you are looking for booties, I love all of the new fall arrival boot options.
