Father’s Day is quickly approaching! And if there is one thing that makes me love Briton even more, it’s watching him be a father! I am so grateful to be married to someone who loves his family so much! I always think of that Brad Paisley song “And I Thought I Loved You Then” when it comes to our relationship. Brit and I started dating in high school – study hall sweethearts – and I sure thought I loved him so much in high school! But now as we have grown older and started a family of our own it’s amazing how that love has grown! Okay, now that the mushy gushy part is over…… I am so excited to be partnering with Lord & Taylor to feature a few great ideas for Father’s Day and a great gift too! A Family Hike

We are so lucky to live in an area that has a great place to hike together as a family! Right behind our addition, an old golf course was turned into a great place to take a walk as a family! The fact that we can end our walk with some ice cream only makes things better! We love to be active together! But we are all about being balanced too! I mean it just makes sense to burn a few calories and then get some ice cream! On a side note, I cannot stop giggling when I see Lucy’s hand-on-hip pose! The girl gets it naturally!

A Day by the Pool

One of our favorite things to do in the summer is play in the pool! Although, I should clarify…. I am not much of a “pool player”! I prefer to just sit by the side and supervise while I work on my tan! But if it’s nice outside, you can find us in the backyard around the pool!
