Fall is almost here, and it is by far my favorite season to dress for!! But if you are anything like me, you totally fall in to the rut of wearing dull colors all winter long. Hello, black, grey, and tan – I’m talking to you! But with all the great colorful sweaters, there is no excuse not to add a little bit of the rainbow to your fall and winter wardrobe!! Perhaps there is even a study out there that proves that wearing bright and cheerful colors will totally brighten your mood! I own this Halogen cardigan in almost every color possible!! It’s basic, comfortable, and available in almost every color of the rainbow! Size down if in between. I own this in a size small and XS but like the fit of the XS slightly better. You can wear it with jeans for a more casual outfit or dress it up to make it more work appropriate!

Clearly, I have no problems wearing pink all year long!!! This convertible cardigan is a great piece to wear all fall and winter! The material is incredibly soft, and it can be draped like shown or unbuttoned and worn down. This cardigan is also perfect for traveling!! True to size. I am wearing a small. Even though the color of this cardigan is “Pink Cedar”, this cardigan definitely looks more coral in person! It is an absolutely perfect piece to pick up for fall and winter!! I thought this cardigan ran big and sized down one size to XS. It is also available in plus sizes. You will also see me wearing this scarf all fall and winter! It goes with just about every outfit!

I absolutely love this yellow thermal!! Whether you wear it buttoned like a shirt or unbuttoned like a cardigan, this soft piece is perfect for fall and winter. I did find that it ran a little big. I sized down one size to XS. And here’s another outfit that is perfect with this scarf.

When I first started brainstorming about this post and came up with the idea of wearing different colors in the fall and winter, I knew I needed to choose something a little bit brighter in the green department than I am used to! I have plenty of more muted greens, but I wanted to get something a little brighter! When I saw this sweater, I fell in love with the beautiful green color!! It is a little outside my comfort zone, but I am so glad I went for it! Not only is this sweater great for work, but it is also perfect for a casual occasion too! Oh my goodness!!! I love this blue cardigan!!! The color is so pretty, and the material is so soft! It is also a great match to this fabulous scarf! This cardigan does run a little big. I sized down one size to XS and still have plenty of room!

I purchased this cardigan last fall in black, but when I saw that it came in this pretty purple color too, I knew it was perfect for this post! It looks great buttoned or opened, and the material is super soft! This cardigan is true to size. I am wearing a small. And you may have noticed that I have been wearing these jeans in almost every outfit combo!! If you are looking for a pair of distressed jeans that are super comfortable and won’t break the bank, these have the feel of a $200+ pair of jeans at one-third of the price!
