Fall is finally here – at least in Indiana! And boy am I glad! And if there is one thing I wear more than anything in the fall, it’s a good pair of jeans! So, I tried on A TON of jeans! I am so excited to be partnering with Nordstrom to bring you the 6 pairs of jeans that scored the highest! And guess what – they are ALL under $100! I tested the jeans and answered six questions!

There are so many reasons why Nordstrom is my favorite store to shop! Some jeans didn’t work out for me! And normally returning them would be a big pain! But not with Nordstrom! They make returns painless and FREE! I don’t have a Nordstrom near me, so I am very thankful that I can order two sizes of something when I’m not sure which size will fit me best! Then I can easily send back what doesn’t work! But if you do live near a Nordstrom (Lucky!!), you can order online and pick up in the store with no hassles! You can even reserve something online and try it on later in the store! Another huge benefit is their free alterations! I am only 5’5″ and many times jeans can be way too long for me! No problem with Nordstrom!

The Best Pair of Distressed Jeans

If you have been following for a while, you won’t be shocked to find out that these Articles of Society distressed jeans made my list for the best distressed jeans! So let’s get down to business and answer all the questions to find out why they are so great!

1. Do they hold their SHAPE?*I found that when I tried these on in my normal size of 27, they stretched out a little too much for me throughout the day. However, when I sized down to a 26, they felt great all day!
2. Are they SOFT?*YES! One thousand times yes! You may have heard me say this before, but I am normally an expensive jeans kinda gal! But over the last few years, jeans with a much lower price tag are feeling like a pair of $200+ pair of jeans! These jeans are very soft!
3. Do they have a good STRETCH?*Yes! They have a great stretch! They are made with 2% spandex which allows them to stretch with movement without stretching out throughout the day!
4. Do they STAY in place?*Yes! I have worn these many times and found them to stay in place without me readjusting throughout the day!
5. How much did I SPEND?*These jeans are only $64! And with Nordstrom, you get free shipping too!
6. Are they true to SIZE?* I found that I preferred these jeans one size down. So definitely if in between, size down.

My Favorite Pull-On Jeans

I have said this for five years – Liverpool Pull-On Jeans are hands-down my favorites! I am only 5’5″ so the regular version is a little long for me. So, I can either purchase the ankle version or have Nordstrom alter them for free!!

1. Do they hold their SHAPE?*Yes! But because they are a pull-on jean, I like the fit of one size down better than my regular size.
2. Are they SOFT?*Yes! They are incredibly soft! This is one of the reasons they are my favorites!
3. Do they have a good STRETCH?*Yes! They have a great stretch! Even though they are made up of just 1% spandex, the stretch in these jeans is great!
4. Do they STAY in place?*Yes! It’s like there is a little bit of magic woven into these jeans! They stay in place all day and make you feel like you are wearing comfortable sweatpants!
5. How much did I SPEND?*These jeans are $69!
6. Are they true to SIZE?* I found that I preferred these jeans one size down. So definitely if in between, size down.

Another Great Pair of Pull-On Jeans

Another brand I am loving for pull-on jeans is Jag! These jeans are a super close second to my Liverpools!

1. Do they hold their SHAPE?*Yes! But I ordered these true to size. But I am now wondering if one size down would be a better fit for me.
2. Are they SOFT?*Yes! They are incredibly soft!
3. Do they have a good STRETCH?*Yes! They have a great stretch with 2% spandex!
4. Do they STAY in place?*Yes! They stayed in place pretty well, but again, I am wondering if one size down would stay in place better for me.
5. How much did I SPEND?*These jeans are $74 with free shipping!
6. Are they true to SIZE?* I would say true to size, but definitely size down if you are in between sizes.

Best Bootcut Jeans

I have always been a HUGE fan of Wit & Wisdom pants, and these ab-solution bootcut jeans are certainly no exception! The magic in any Wit & Wisdom ab-solution pants in the full elastic waist with the normal zipper and button! Bending up and down all day will NEVER be a problem in these!

1. Do they hold their SHAPE?*Yes!  All day!
2. Are they SOFT?*Yes! They are very soft!
3. Do they have a good STRETCH?*Yes! They have a great stretch with 2% spandex!
4. Do they STAY in place?*Yes! They stayed in place very well and move well too – in a good way!
5. How much did I SPEND?*These jeans are $68 with free shipping!
6. Are they true to SIZE?* Yes, true to size for me!

Best Regular Skinny Jeans

If you are looking for a great pair of base skinny jeans, these jeans by Kut from the Kloth are fantastic! They run a little big so you get to size down one size – who doesn’t love that? And I just discovered that they are now half off with free shipping!!!

1. Do they hold their SHAPE?*Yes!  All day!
2. Are they SOFT?*Yes! They are very soft!
3. Do they have a good STRETCH?*Yes! They have a great stretch with 2% elastane!
4. Do they STAY in place?*Yes! They stayed in place all day!
5. How much did I SPEND?* $74-89 with free shipping!
6. Are they true to SIZE?* I sized down one size to a 2. Please note that these are an ankle jean. I am 5’5″, and they hit me at the perfect spot to wear with booties!

A Surprising New Jean I LOVE

On my quest to find a great pair of jeans, I ran across this pair from a brand I had never heard of. But when I read this description (These soft and stretchy skinny jeans with a high rise and clean, uncluttered styling are a pair you’ll reach for again and again.) and saw the $39 price tag, I decided they were definitely worth a shot! Yep, definitely worth it! They are amazingly soft and stretchy! Based on Nordstrom’s recommendation, I ordered true to size. However, I believe one size down will fit me better because these did stretch out a bit with wear throughout the day. They also come in plus sizes. These were also Briton’s favorite pair on me! He said they didn’t give me a “mom butt”! And if you can trust the fashion sense of someone that wears tube socks and sneakers all the time, you can trust his opinion here! Ha! I am very impressed with all of the jeans from this brand! And you can’t beat the price!

1. Do they hold their SHAPE?*These stretched out a bit for me with wear. I ended up returning my regular size of 27 and ordering the 26. The 26 was a much better fit!
2. Are they SOFT?*Yes! OH MY GOODNESS! So soft – they are like butt-ah!
3. Do they have a good STRETCH?*Yes! They have amazing stretch with 1% spandex!
4. Do they STAY in place?*They moved a bit throughout the day, but again, if I would have sized down, it would have been better!
5. How much did I SPEND?* Here’s the amazing thing – these jeans are only $39 with free shipping and returns! ONLY $39!!
6. Are they true to SIZE?* I am recommending you size down one size. I just reordered these in a size 26 (one size down for me).
