I know, I know…. updating the garage seems like a silly room to update! But we don’t have a mudroom in our house, and having the kids just dump all of their stuff by the backdoor every day when they get home from school was really starting to get on my nerves! So, I had our fabulous wood worker build some shelves with hooks for the kids to hang their stuff on! BEST DECISION!!! I also added a few fun details to totally update the look of our garage! The paint color in the garage is “Benjamin Moore Fieldstone” – it’s a great neutral color! The doors were painted “Benjamin Moore Gunmetal”.

I completely forgot to take a picture of what the space looked like “before”, but here is a “during” picture! Our doors were just the standard white color.

But with just a little bit of paint, the whole space was transformed!!! I also added these cute hello and goodbye decals and absolutely love them! I also love these baskets for storage! I did add felt pads to the bottom so they wouldn’t scratch up the shelves.
