I have been dreaming of this day long before I started my blog almost four years ago. I am sharing a little bit more about my background and the collection that I am loving from Gibsonlook! And you can use code CANDACE20 to save 20% off it all!

When I was a little girl I played with Barbies until I was in middle school! But it wasn’t just playing pretend, I made outfits for them and decorated their house. I grew up as the oldest of four kids. My mom was a SAHM while we were little, and my dad taught at our local Christian school. We didn’t have very much money growing up, but I had more than everything I needed and the best family in the world. I remember getting made fun of one Sunday because I wore the same outfit to church two weeks in a row.

But the little girl in me that loved to design and be creative continued to do so. I started babysitting very young to earn extra money. When I turned 15, I got a job at a local restaurant as a hostess and later a server. I came home on weekends from college to see a pretty important guy in my life and work to earn a little extra money.

I went to college to become a teacher! I pulled cute outfits together on a shoestring budget! I went shopping with my friends to help them find great outfits that made them feel confident.

Almost four years ago, I started this page as another creative outfit to share great deals and help women feel more confident in their clothes! And when I started this page, I made a dream board. I dreamed of having a collaboration with a clothing line.

And now my dreams are becoming a reality! I am so excited to be partnering with Gibsonlook to share pieces for the International Women’s Day collection!

I could not do any of this without you all! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! I am tearing up as I am writing this because this is not just a page. This is a group of women that have helped make my dreams come true, sent me love and encouragement along the way, and have become some of my biggest cheerleaders! I am forever grateful to for the community we have created together.

Off the Shoulder Top

To say I was excited that this top was named after me may be a bit of an understatement!! You all know how much I love my off-the-shoulder pieces!! This one is so darn soft and can easily be dressed up or down! The drawstring at the waist band is awesome too! And… it actually STAYS OFF YOUR SHOULDER rather than creeping up all the time!

This top was named after The Fancy Ashley! She is such a ray of sunshine! She has great every day style and is from Houston, Texas!

These joggers were named after Sarah from The Mom In Style! She is a mom of two boys from Ohio! She does a great job showing every day style!

These linen pants are one of my favorite pieces from the collection! They are lightweight, available in three colors, and higher waisted making them so comfortable!!
