Last week, I had a work event in NYC, and Lucy, her best friend, and her mom tagged along with me! We had the best time, and I am sharing all the things we did, where we ate, and what we wore!

Screenshot this itinerary, and save it for your next trip! We loved everything we did and would do it again tomorrow! Okay… maybe not tomorrow because it would be a little crazy to find time in our crazy schedules, but you get my point! We had a wonderful time! I used ChatGPT to plan out this trip, and it was so helpful!

For the second time, we stayed at the Lotte New York Palace! I cannot recommend this place more – especially if you are going around the holidays! They set a beautiful tree up in this courtyard! It is a great location and walking to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, and so many shops was so easy to do! The rooms are spacious (even with four people) and clean! And the staff has always been so friendly and helpful!

This picture was taken a few years ago when we went at Christmas time! This is the GORGEOUS tree that is set up in the courtyard! I can hardly believe how little Lucy was in this picture!

We walked or used ride share apps to get everywhere. I have both Uber and Lyft downloaded on my phone. I checked both places to see which one was cheaper. It varied slightly, but Lyft was usually cheaper! I also learned that you can put your destination into Google Maps, and you can see which subway lines will get you there the quickest and how much it cost!

We actually arrived in NYC Wednesday night! And after checking into our hotel, Lotte New York Palace, we made our way downtown for some pizza from Little Italy Pizza – delicious! We loved it too because we could get pizza by the slice rather than an entire pizza of the same flavor!

We had breakfast at Sarabeth’s across from Central Park, and it was delicious! I was able to make reservations through Open Table – which made things so easy! We walked there from our hotel!

Even though it does cost money, I highly recommend taking a bike tour with a guide through Central Park – especially if it is your first time! You can barter with them a little bit on the price. It is the easiest and fastest way to see all the famous spots in Central Park. They even pull up the movies or shows and let you see that landmark on the screen!

It also gives you someone to capture fun pictures like this one of your entire group!

Next we headed to Top of the Rock (you can grab tickets through this link)! This was a really cool view of the city! I have heard it is even better at night!

We had lunch at Bill’s Bar & Burger! This was a great casual spot that was very close to Top of the Rock! I would say the food was good not great. It was very affordable.

Later that night, I had my work event! I was able to meet with several brands and meet some great people in the same industry!

While I was at my event, the girls went to Rosa Mexicano! They said it was fabulous!!

Today we headed to Soho! We had breakfast at Little Ruby’s, and – OH MY GOODNESS – the food was incredible! Later when we asked Lucy what her favorite part was of the entire trip, she said the breakfast burrito! HA!! The pancakes were the best ones I had ever had! Highly recommend this place!

We shopped in Soho that morning and afternoon and really enjoyed the shops!

We grabbed lunch at Le Pecora Bianca, and it was delicious! That vodka pasta was one of the best I have ever had!

We had dinner at Tao and absolutely loved it! Today was our favorite food day, and honestly, I wish I would have been hungrier at each meal because the food was so fabulous!

We took the girls to see The Lion King on Broadway, and even though they were not 100% sold on the idea, we all loved it! The music, the costumes, the way they bring the story to life – all fabulous! Grab tickets here!

This wasn’t on our itinerary, but we ended the night at the M&M store, and the girls loved it! It was on walk home from the show to our hotel!

The girls got stopped every time they wore these sweatshirts!!!! They were perfect for NYC!

We grabbed bagels for a late breakfast from Broad Nosh Bagels, and they were delicious! The amount of flavors of bagels and cream cheese they had was incredible!! You can also order ahead and grab when you get there to avoid the lines! There was a line out the door even at 9:30 am!

We walked around Chelsea Market and the High Line! Was a beautiful day for walking!

One of the highlights from the trip was seeing &Juliet! It was one of the best Broadway shows I have ever seen! It was so funny, had amazing music from the 90s and 2000s, and the costumes were great too! Honestly, if you just see one show, this would be at the top of my recommendation list! Grab tickets here.

We ended the night by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and into Brooklyn and Dumbo area! Honestly, it was quite stunning to see at sunset and into the evening!

For our last meal, we grabbed dinner in the Dumbo area at ABC Kitchen! I loved the food! Reminded me of a farm to table type restaurant! It was not the girls’ favorite restaurant, but the moms really liked it!

If you come during the holidays, seeing The Rockettes was fabulous! Highly recommend! Grab tickets here!

The frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity is super popular! We did not love the food, and the drinks were incredibly sugary. Was a cute atmosphere, but we would not go back.

Even the lobby of the Lotte New York Palace is beautiful!

Seeing the Rockefeller Tree is a must at the holidays, but the tree at the Lotte New York Palace (second picture) was more beautiful in my opinion!

The 9/11 Memorial and Museum is another thing worth doing in NYC. Very touching. The memorial is just beautiful. Grab tickets here.
We love NYC and truly had a wonderful time! If you have a trip to NYC coming up, I hope you find this guide helpful!
