This pie is one of our favorite desserts of summer (in case you can’t tell from this picture!) Truth be told, we hardly ever make it as a pie! We usually just make the meringue topping to top fresh strawberries!! This is my mother-in-law’s recipe, and it’s a great one!!

When I read this recipe in O Magazine, I instantly wanted to make it! Oh my, it sounded so good! This recipe was created by Daphne Oz. And wow, is it ever delicious!! But I must say, Oprah’s crew did a much better job capturing a photograph than I did! Ha! Pinterest fail! But it still tasted amazing!
