10 Items to Buy & Try in 2019

When you think about getting healthy for the new year, you probably picture yourself at the gym, right?! But getting healthy starts on the inside and radiates on the outside! I am partnering with Walgreens to share 10 products that help me look and feel my best! And most of them are less than $12!!! And right now through February 19, tons of vitamins and supplements are BOGO FREE!+ Extra $19 Off $88 w/ code NEWYEARS!!!!! And did you know that Walgreens has super fast shipping on thousands of items?t! You can order many with 1-2 day shipping!

1. Vitamin C

Vitamin C is probably one of the most popular vitamins out there! But did you know that your body doesn’t produce it? Many people, including me, take a vitamin C supplement for the many health benefits! Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant that can strengthen your body’s natural defenses! These chewable vitamins are a great support to your immune system! These are currently BOGO free, and you can clip a coupon online to save an additional $2! I also take these Fish Oil Softgels to help my skin from being less dry!

2. Biotin

I take a Biotin supplement every day! Biotin has been linked to improved hair health and maintaining proper function of the nervous system! This chewable one is great! It is currently BOGO free with a $2 coupon you can clip online!

3. Anti-residue Shampoo

When I went to visit my friend, Janean, in Chicago, she told me that her hair stylist recommended using Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo once a week on her hair to help residue from your products to be removed! I have found that by using this shampoo once a week, my hair holds a curl better and stays styled longer!

4. Mascara & Prime

This mascara and primer were recommended by so many of you, that I was excited to try them out for myself!! They definitely made my lashes longer without making them look clumpy! Good call, team!! Not only is the price great, but the mascara actually works well too!

5. Makeup Remover Wipes

You better believe these wipes go with me every time I travel! They easily remove all my makeup, are fragrance free, and save me all kinds of hassle because I don’t have to bring liquid makeup remover!

6. Hair Remover Strips

I like to use these Nair Strips before I travel to somewhere that my legs will be shown – aka anywhere warm! For about two weeks, I let the hair on my legs grow out (I know, gross!). Then I use these strips a day or two before my trip! My hair is removed and I require VERY minimal shaving on my trip!! Win, win!

7. Dry Shampoo

Several of you recommended Batiste Dry Shampoo!! I ordered the one for dark hair, but they have several different kinds for you to choose from!

8. Eye Cream

Every Thursday in the summers, I host Teacher Pool Day! One of those Thursdays, we were all sitting around talking about the joys of getting older! We all agreed that even though we were fine with getting older, we didn’t want to LOOK older! One of the retired teachers, who still looks fabulous and young, says she swears by this eye cream! And while this will set you back about $20, I have been using it for the past two years and really think that it does help the skin around my eyes look better (and younger!)!

9. False Eyelashes

Because this is not a product on an every day basis, I don’t want to spend tons of money! I use these exact false lashes and love them! They look natural and beautiful! Plus, they are less than $5! Don’t forget the adhesive to make them stick on!

10. Lip Balm

I swear by this lip balm! I have it in my car, my purse, the kids have them in their coat pockets! It keeps my lips from being too dry and even works in other places too! My hands often get dry in the winter, and this lip balm helps heal those dry areas on my hands! Plus, it’s fragrance free and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin!

Have some favorite drugstore items of your own? Let me know about them! I would love to try some new products!! Here’s to a healthier you from the inside out!
