What to Pack for a Cruise

Most of you know that I just got back from a Dance Fitness Cruise with Karma Vacations! This is my second year attending, and each year, it just keeps getting better! It is a regular Royal Caribbean cruise with a group of amazing master instructors that teach classes for those of us in the group! I have never felt more energy from a class!! So amazing! Many of you have been asking what is acceptable to wear on a cruise! And honestly, anything goes. You will see sweatpants and leggings to sequined dresses! So wear whatever makes you feel amazing!

For Dinners

Since I don’t get dressed up very often, I loved getting fancy for dinner! But honestly, anything goes! On our ship, there were two formal nights. Every other night was “anything goes”!

This group of beautiful souls has a special place in my heart! These were our looks for one of the formal night! We decided to do a black and white theme! You know what I always say, “Black and white is always right!” My dress is an oldie from a Material World box. Brand is Proenza Schouler.

I am not going to lie – this dress looks bizarre on a hanger and was a pain to figure out how to put on! But once it was on – look out – it’s a show-stopper! I felt so good in this dress and got tons of compliments. I sized up one size to M.

On a more casual night for dinner, Sarah rocked her jeans, and I busted out my comfy jumpsuit!

During the Day

You will probably have a couple days off the boat! And whether you choose to do an excursion, lay by the beach, or explore the town, comfort is key!

I like to pack a cute and comfy romper because it can double as a beach or pool coverup!

I wore this outfit as we boarded the ship! I love it when a look is super cute and equally comfortable! All TTS. Wearing a small in the pants and top.

Swimwear

And you can’t forget some fabulous swimwear for catching those rays! I love my high-waited bikini bottoms!

While in St. Maarten, we relaxed at the beach! So beautiful! I love these high-waisted leopard print bottoms from Amazon! And while the tops never fit me quite right, I paired the bottoms with a black top already in my closet. I sized up one size to M in the bottoms. I sized up one size to 6 in the top.

This was one of my favorite suits that I took on the trip! The bottoms are from Amazon and run small. I sized up 2 sizes to a L. The top is by Trina Turk (they are my favorites!), and I sized up one size to a 6.

Well, you know what they say… when life gives you lemons, put them on a cute swimsuit! Loved this Trina Turk set! I sized up one size in both pieces to a 6.

A little windy, yes, but this colorful suit was another favorite! The bottoms are by Trina Turk and on major sale! I sized up one size to a 6. The top is an older one that I have had for a while, but I linked some super similar ones.
