Admittedly, I am a creature of habit! Every day I have a smoothie for lunch that I make in my Vitamix! Before I dive into my recipes, I want to tell you why I think the Vitamix is the best blender out there! I have tried several different brands of blenders, but none of them have the power of the Vitamix. I remember when Briton and I first got married, we registered for an inexpensive red blender that would match the red kitchen in our first house! That thing looked cute, but it didn’t last long and never fully blended my smoothies.

Even though it was almost 20 years old, I still wanted to give it a try! Ten years later, and I am still using that same Vitamix! I got the new one (pictured) to see how it compared, and the same power is still there with just a couple more “bells and whistles”!

You guys know I love a good deal, but some items like the Vitamix are worth splurging for! When you invest in quality pieces like this, you get a product that will last for years!

I love how the new lid stays on better with its “arms” on the side to attach to the container. The 64-oz container is big enough for every job I need done in the kitchen! Because, yes, the Vitamix is great for blending, but it also does THIRTEEN other jobs too! It is a whole food juicer, blender, food processor, stick blender, hand mixer, ice cream maker, ice crusher, meat grinder, chopper, cheese grater, peanut butter maker, fondue maker, hot soup and sauce maker!

I love how easily you can adjust the speed of your Vitamix just by turning the dial!

I also love the tamper included with the Vitamix because you can easily get to the bottom of the blender and mix if needed.

Smoothie Recipe 1 – Strawberry Banana with Dragon Fruit

Ingredients
10 ounces almond milk
1 scoop protein powder
1 scoop collagen powder
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen dragon fruit

Add all ingredients to your Vitamix and blend until smooth!

Smoothie Recipe 2 – Blueberry Mango with Banana

Ingredients
10 ounces almond milk
1 scoop protein powder
1 scoop collagen powder
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen mango

Add all ingredients to your Vitamix and blend until smooth!
