When I arrived home from Colorado, I had a giant box waiting for me from The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I ordered a few (or maybe a bit more than a few!) items that I wanted to try! Some of the items were hits, while others were misses!

Before I share my favorites, I have to say, that I truly don’t believe that you should purchase something just because it is on sale! Ask yourself these three questions before you decide what to purchase and/or keep!

1. Is this the image I want to portray?
2. Does it look good on me?
3. Do I love it?

I wanted to love this Steve Madden dress, but I was not a fan of the material. It also runs very small. I am wearing my normal size of small, but a medium would have fit better.

I have to tell you, I had LOW hopes for this tunic when I pulled it out of the packaging, but when I put it on, I loved it! It is made of a super soft material and long enough to wear with leggings!

This dress was a winner for me, but I will say, if you are taller than me (I’m just 5’5″), it may be just a bit too short! This dress would be perfect for nursing mamas too because of the snap closure at the bust.

This thermal was another winner for me! It is made of a great, soft material! I love that it can be worn on the shoulder, off one shoulder, or off both shoulders too!

This top is a great top by itself, but it will also be perfect for layering under a cardigan or jacket! I love the raw edge details too. The jeans on the left were a miss for me because they had no stretch. But the jeans on the left were very comfortable with great stretch!

This is a great lightweight top for fall! The ruching is just so cute! it is a little bit on the thinner side so I recommend wearing a nude bra underneath.
