Family Room
In our family room, we had the walls painted Restoration Hardware’s color, Silver Sage. We also had the giant shelving unit redone and then attached to the wall. We filled it with old books from a barn sale! The fireplace we had sprayed white and then had a mirror put in to help reflect more light and make the room appear larger. My sweet sister-in-law, Courtney, gave me the great old window to put on the mantel! I also really love basket by the fireplace from Target. Here is a similar one!
The couch is from Pottery Barn and was well worth the investment. Yes, it was expensive. But yes, it was totally worth it! The color of the couch is Silver Taupe. It is slip-covered, which is a feature I love with children! I got these blue pillows from a PB Outlet, but these are similar.
The coffee table was purchase from Wayfair.com. I cannot say enough good things about this company! I found the table cheaper on another website, but they did not have free shipping. I called Wayfair and they not only matched the price with free shipping, but they let me use my 15% off coupon code! Super impressed with their customer service!
I love these swivel and rocking chairs that we purchased from a local furniture store! Paired with these pillows they are so comfortable! I love the swivel because they are perfect for watching TV or turned the other way for having a conversation with someone sitting on the couch!
Local lovelies, Karla and her husband from Unique Pieces built this table, and it is amazing!!!
When I saw this big space above the couch, I had NO idea what I was going to put up there. I didn’t want a piece of art. Brit really wanted a Bible verse in every room of the house. So I found a website (http://wordsanywhere.com/) that would create a verse that would be GIGANTIC for this big open space. I absolutely love how it turned out! This press on saying was the perfect touch!
