What I’m Packing for Spring Break

Who’s ready for spring break!?!? Two hands up for this girl! You may have seen my Spring Getaway post with Nordstrom last week, but here are a few other options you might want to consider adding to your suitcase! Every year, my little family of four join my parents and my sister with her family down in Florida in the Orlando area! (And no… we aren’t doing Disney. Oh my goodness!! WAY too busy for me this time of year!) This has been a crazy, busy school year! I always look forward to spring break! It is a time for total relaxation! We don’t do much, but it sure is nice to be in the warmth and be surrounded by family!

Getaway Guide with Nordstrom

If you live in a place that has had what seems like an endless amount of snow, you are ready for a getaway to warmer weather! We just purchased our tickets to Florida for spring break, and I could not be more excited! We always look forward to spending time in the sun with my parents and my siblings! I am thrilled to be partnering with Nordstrom today to bring you some great pieces to take on your next getaway!

Reality Check

Whoa! That’s a big, scary picture of me! But today was kind of a stinky day! And while sometimes social media only portrays things as perfect, I am here to tell you that not everything is perfect in my life.

Let’s “Taco-bout” Brandless

You may have read the post I did last week about the delicious pancake breakfast our family enjoyed from the amazing company, Brandless. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this company. Not only are the items amazing (and, wow, they are!!), Brandless just has some really great policies too! If you read my last post, you know that they offer great organic food and cleaning products. They also partner with Feeding America – one meal is donated to someone in need for every purchase. And everything on their site is $3 or less!! Woot woot!

Cauliflower Pizza

On our journey to eat well, one thing I always missed was pizza!! When I stumbled across a recipe for a cauliflower pizza crust, I was intrigued! After trying a few recipes, I modified a recipe to make it work for our family!

Create Your Own Valentines

Yes, I am one of those crazy moms that likes to do homemade Valentine’s Day cards with my kids for their classes!  We really  have fun doing these together! So for those of you on a limited time table (I mean, who isn’t!?!), I am hoping this makes things a little easier for you! Here are my  Valentine’s Day Printables to download the free printable for these homemade Valentine’s Day cards!

Don’t forget about your teachers too! Use this free printable for a coffee gift card that says, I love you a latte or this Thanks a Latte! Check out the printable for Target, Amazon or attach any gift card with this printable here

My New Favorite Kitchen Tool

I recently purchased this little gadget for my KitchenAid Mixer!!! Oh my goodness, this spiralizer is AMAZING!!!! (P.S. – I linked the least expensive one I could find, but it is refurbished. If you would rather not have one that is refurbished, click here to purchase this one.) I have only used this once, and already, I can’t wait to use it again!

Brandless – Breakfast Style

When Brandless reached out to me about a month ago to try some of their products, I was really excited! Our family really tries to eat healthy. And after researching the site, I found so many amazing products that I couldn’t wait to try! Henry instantly got behind the site when he found out that Steph Curry is an investor! Brandless carries everything from household supplies to amazing food choices! Now here’s the kicker – everything (and I mean EVERYTHING!!) is $3 or less! You can read all about this amazing company here.

Resolutions

With the new year in full force, I am sure that I am not alone in setting goals for the new year! One of my goals for the month of January was to go gluten, dairy, and sugar free for this month. Day 3 – I already failed! We had one last family Christmas and pizza was the main course! It was gluten free, but still contained cheese…. and I LOVE cheese!! Anyway…. back to goals! I jumped right back on the health train even though I failed one day! You see, that’s life! Just because you fail one day, doesn’t mean you should give up entirely.

My Favorite Make-Up Products

I have had several questions about my favorite make-up products! So here you go, lovelies! Theses are my favorites! Tried and true!

P.S. – Don’t expect a make-up tutorial from me! I am sure I am doing things wrong! 😉
